Welcome

The New Homes Marketing Board (NHMB) was established in 1982 by the Home Builders Federation to provide information on:

  • the benefits of buying newly built homes
  • the need for more homes to be built in England and Wales
  • the facts and figures which explode the myths on home building
  • the plight of first-time buyers

In addition to raising awareness of the benefits of new homes, the NHMB also promotes the need for new housing amongst the general public and key opinion formers.

In promoting a positive image of the housing industry’s aims and activities the NHMB supports the HBF’s political and media
campaigns.

NHMB members are encouraged to contribute to the promotional work of the NHMB for the benefit of the new homes industry and to utilise the work of the NHMB to support their own public relations at a regional and local level.

The news and views of the NHMB are constantly updated on this web site.

Do you think the government should do more for first-time buyers to allow more young people to get their foot on the property ladder?
